From the Green travel south to Route 35. Turn onto 35 at Chester Hardware. Follow the winding road about 1.5 miles to Popple Dungeon Road. Within a mile on Popple Dungeon, the road becomes unpaved. You'll travel 6 more miles along the mostly shaded Popple Dungeon, with the South Branch of the Williams River variously on your right and left, past small farms and homesteads and the Williams State Forest on your right. Tater Hill Golf Course is at mile 7 on Popple Dungeon.

Please think safety first when bicycling Vermont's scenic roadways, many of which are winding. Wear a helmet and beware of motor vehicles. On our unpaved roads, please know that besides being winding, many are quite bumpy and logging trucks are common.
