The Chester Conservation Committee is a volunteer organization that maintains two hiking trails in Chester for everyone to enjoy. The committee also fosters awareness and stewardship of Chester’s rich heritage of natural resources, culture and history. Hours: The Pinnacle recreation area offers year-round fun for the whole family. It consists of the Skate Park complete with ramps, the town swimming pool, tennis courts, ballfields, hiking trails and a picnicking area.

Hours: You'll cross the Middle Branch of the Williams River twice along this relatively easy route, which does have one steep incline at the Footbridge. A walking stick can be helpful.
