The Chester Conservation Committee is a volunteer organization that maintains two hiking trails in Chester for everyone to enjoy. The committee also fosters awareness and stewardship of Chester’s rich heritage of natural resources, culture and history. Welcome to the 10th Annual Music in the Meadow to benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to fight cancer. Both days will be filled with family fun. For a suggested donation of only $5, you can experience great music, an antique car show and games. Food will be available on site and you'll also be able to participate in the Silent Auction and the Raffle for a queen size Vermont made quilt, a wall-hanging and 100 gallons of fuel.

Overture to Christmas is an annual town-wide event in the lovely Victorian town of Chester, Vermont, taking place mostly on Saturday Dec. 7th, 2013. Music, puppetry, crafts, food, a townwide scavenger hunt and fun for all ages.
